Bananaz raises $5.3 million in Seed funding to bring AI to R&D design change management

Bananaz, a platform focused on design change management for R&D and engineering teams, has announced its official exit from stealth mode with $5.3 million in Seed funding. The round was led by 10D and Cardumen Capital and will help bananaz to scale its AI-powered solutions, offering engineering teams tools that eliminate inefficiencies of traditional design workflows and saving time and money across the production process.

According to bananaz, within the manufacturing industry 30% of engineering time is lost to manual reviews and 20% of revenues are eroded by design errors. The platform can reduce design review times by up to 90%, eliminating undetected drawing errors, and saving companies millions in rework and recalls.
