Red Dot Capital Partners appoints new partners
Danielle Ardon Baratz and Atad Peled will join the fund which was established in 2016 and manages $450 million in investments.
Israeli VC Red Dot Capital Partners announced that it is appointing Danielle Ardon Baratz and Atad Peled as new partners. They will be joining the fund's existing partners, Yoram Oron, Yaniv Stern, and Barak Salomon. Peled and Ardon Baratz joined Red Dot's investment team during the fund's early years and played a significant role in leading investments made by the fund over the past five years.
Ardon Baratz grew up in Canada and returned to Israel 12 years ago. She began her career in the strategy and corporate development department at NICE, where she led projects for five years that helped define the company's long-term strategy and execution through acquisitions. Ardon Baratz left NICE to join Eyal Ofer's venture capital firm, O.G. Venture Partners, and participated in the fund's initial investments. Ardon Baratz joined Red Dot Capital five years ago where she leads investments in various fields, including Enterprise Software, AI Infrastructure, Vertical SaaS, Deep Tech, FinTech, and more.
Peled served in an elite unit of the Israeli Air Force for 13 years, where he held various senior command roles. In 2015, he relocated to the United States to pursue an MBA at MIT. After completing his degree, he worked as a product manager in the security divisions of Cisco, Akamai, and Amazon Web Services, specializing in Network Access Control (NAC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM). After about four years in the United States, Peled returned to Israel to join Red Dot's investment team, where he leads investments in a variety of fields, including DevOps, Cybersecurity, Enterprise IT, B2B SaaS, and Climate-tech.
Red Dot Capital was founded in 2016 by Yoram Oron and Yaniv Stern. Among the fund's investors are Temasek, a Singaporean government-owned investment company, Eldridge, a privately-owned American investment firm, as well as investors from Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The fund manages investments totaling $450 million across two flagship funds and an Opportunity fund.
