“GPUs, AI, and data are the architecture tsunamis that are going through the market right now,” said SQream Co-founder and CEO Ami Gal. “People understand the value of AI in their own ChatGPT consoles, but at the level of enterprises, they are getting the holy grail of AI insights. So what we see in the market right now is that there are what they call ‘AI factories’ that create insights with a huge value to organizations and societies. And the infrastructure of that is built off data and algorithms. So SQream is about marrying data processing vis-a-vis AI algorithm running on top of GPUs natively. We are here, part of the infrastructure of a lot of the applications that you see here are built on data and AI being run on screen.”
Gal joined CTech at AI 2024 to discuss the significance of AI for enterprises. Citing examples relating to transport and healthcare, he shared how SQream helps organize information to help workers and citizens.
“One of the earliest sectors that adopted machine learning, AI and deep learning was healthcare,” he explained. “So you can create a new drug. Creation costs about a billion dollars. And you can really shorten the time frame to do that with data and AI. So drug development and genome research are sectors that started working with these algorithms a decade ago, and today you see the fruits. So healthcare, cancer treatment, designing of new drugs, and designing better treatments for patients based on their genome profile. This is something that is already going on in the market quite a bit.”
