“London has always been an attractive venue for Israeli companies”
Michal Freeman-Shor, Head of Primary Markets, Israel at the London Stock Exchange, joined CTech to discuss what the British capital can offer companies from Startup Nation
“Startup Nation obviously established itself as a fantastic innovator and a place for great businesses, and English investors know that,” explained Michal Freeman-Shor, Head of Primary Markets, Israel at the London Stock Exchange. “They get it. They understand that this is the place to be and this is the place to invest. If we look at Israeli companies who have listed on the London Stock Exchange in the last five years, 80% of them trade-up 12 months in.”
Freeman-Shor joined CTech to share some of the qualities of London that make it attractive for Israeli companies looking to go public. “London has always been an attractive venue for Israeli companies,” she continued. “Not many know about it because they look at other places across the pond, but London has always been a really good place for Israeli companies. London is the most international Exchange, there are more international companies in London than in any other Exchange, including the U.S. We have many companies that are thriving.”
