The carts that the company will supply to the Australian retail company are the Cust2Mate 3.0 carts, the latest iteration of Cust2Mate's smart cart which was launched in January this year at the NRF exhibition.
The smart carts enable shopping and payment directly within the cart, eliminating the necessity of waiting in checkout lines. Equipped with a touch screen, built-in barcode reader, security scale to prevent unpaid items, and a camera documenting the shopping process, these carts also allow shoppers to view shopping lists and special messages and use various payment methods.
