Cyberattacks worldwide are increasing - how can companies and governments work together to prevent them?

Muli Motola, CEO at Acsense, spoke to CTech at the Roadshow+ event about how companies can protect themselves online.

“Every organization needs to take care of two things,” explained Muli Motola, CEO at Acsense. “First, proactive defenses to make sure they are working properly, and security in general. On the other hand, you need to make sure you have reactive capabilities to be back to business as usual following a cyberattack - that is very important.”
Acsense is a cybersecurity company that leads the field of resilience in identity and access management (IAM). It was one of the 18 Israeli startups that attended Calcalist and Poalim Tech’s Roadshow+ event, where it was invited to pitch itself to prominent investors.
Cybersecurity remains essential not just for Israel in wartime, but for companies worldwide. Earlier this year, the company that runs Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and MGM Resorts International both reported that they suffered a breach “from gangsters” via their identity and access management systems, costing one of them almost $100 million in damages.
“In general, governments need to take more action against cybercriminals because it is way bigger than what any company can handle by itself,” Motola added.
