As Israel reels from the October 7 attack on its soil and citizens, the tech ecosystem is looking to recover and restore faith from investors and customers overseas who may have paused activity as they explore how the country will react to wartime.
“I feel like we got a big bear hug from people we speak with - prospects, partners, investors,” said Shachar Kaufman, Co-Founder and CEO at Zoma. “There has definitely been a pause since October 7 for a few weeks and we had to readjust and make different plans, but I do feel this acknowledgment and support globally.”
Zoma was founded in 2022 by Kaufman and Batel Shuval and has developed a collaborative and automated AI platform that allows companies that provide services or service divisions within organizations to price their projects. The company was one of 18 that pitched in front of prominent investors during the Calcalist and Poalim Tech Roadshow+ event, now in its third year despite the war with Hamas.
