"Gaming connects people to create and discover," Kotler added. "Gaming tags on TikTok have 445 billion views. Food tags have 500 billion views. Like food, gaming is for everyone, from my grandmother to my daughters, anytime, anywhere. It's a very large audience. How is that possible? Because gaming content exists In all kinds of communities - food, fashion, tourism. Content discovery is not limited to gaming. Gaming content has grown significantly and consistently and over time, a 160% increase in the last year, in all geographic markets."
Noam Zada, Head of EMEA global gaming business marketing at TikTok, added: "The diversity of TikTok content is wide. There are so many types of content - finance, banking, entrepreneurs and investors that explain how to invest and launch a product. Gaming is a rapidly growing vertical. This is an industry that encompasses 3 billion gamers. In terms of user behavior, they spend time watching other gamers. People who watch TV are completely passive, but those who play are completely invested in the game, and this creates high engagement rates. Gaming today is mainstream entertainment and a relevant part of popular culture"
