Conext Global has tangible solutions for concrete problems
Nadav Politi and Shavit Or, Co-Founders and Co-CEOs at Conext Global, spoke to CTech about the impact cement has on the environment - and how they plan to reduce it.

“In regular concrete manufacturing, you have to know how much to add from each raw material and there is a challenge to know how much you need to add because the raw materials depend on external factors,” explained Nadav Politi, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Conext Global. “So without technology like Conex, you have to put many more safety factors and you don't know what will be the accurate quality today.”
Conex helps with real-time monitoring to help users make accurate loads of concrete, helping reduce global emissions. According to the duo, cement is responsible for more than 8% of global CO2 emissions - by helping concrete factories use cement more accurately, they can also add alternative materials.
“We understand that this very interesting issue because it's not only economic, it's not only financial, it's really got a direct influence on the environment,” added Co-Founder and Co-CEO Shavit Or. “While we can make this industry much more accurate, we really can help them to reduce the cement… And while we are doing that, we're not all just helping them to be much more efficient, we help them to be much greener.”
