“Before AI replaces us, it will help us learn faster”

“I think it's one of the areas where I can actually make a difference and become a huge game changer,” said Itay Gissin, CEO at MagniLearn. “Before AI replaces us, it will help us learn faster. There are specific restrictions and requirements in the education space which makes us a vertical AI solution that is defensible.”
Gissin spoke to CTech at the Calcalist and Poalim Tech Roadshow+ event, where startups and VCs gathered for a morning of speed date-type meetings. MagniLearn says it is transforming learning efficiency via precise knowledge tracking and personalization in the education space.
“We have access to unique student data in the process of learning and we have specific expertise in how to teach languages,” he continued. “And there are restrictions and regulations where the publishers and the schools do not want to use general generative AI, which might be fantastic 80% of the time and 20% of the time just spitting out rubbish. So we've developed a solution tailored around the education space and how you learn a language.”
