The company developed Cloud Twin technology, which provides SecOps teams with real-time cloud threat and exposure modeling to accelerate response. By analyzing and understanding the past, present, and future states of the cloud environment, security teams can quickly identify attack paths across all components of the cloud infrastructure and assess the extent of damage. The software also allows teams to evaluate the potential impact of policy violations by users and drastically reduce the average response time by simulating a complete attack route.
Currently, about two-thirds of data breaches in organizations involve cloud-stored data, with the average cost of each breach estimated to be nearly $5 million. Additionally, 82% of organizations take more than seven hours to respond to an attack, while the average attacker needs less than three minutes to gain access to a company’s digital assets and start moving through them.
“SecOps teams need a cloud solution they can trust, and without the ability to continuously assess and manage threat and exposure in real-time, they are securing the cloud through the rear-view mirror,” said Or Shoshani, Co-Founder and CEO of Stream.Security. “This fundraising round comes after a year of over 400% growth and the addition of new clients in the finance, energy, and e-commerce sectors.”
