According to Michal Kissos Hertzog, “It was not obvious at all,” that Israel’s Business Delegation to Paris would take place amid the current period. But, the Poalim Tech CEO told CTech in Paris “I'm very glad we did it because we had a chance - even if it was just a glance - to see how powerful the Israeli industry is, not just tech, but also traditional industries. We really had everyone here and it feels like there are truly good reasons for us to be optimistic about the future of Israel no matter what.”
Kissos Hertzog, who recently penned an op-ed in Calcalist about the need for more regulations of AI, spoke about challenges of the AI revolution. “When it comes to AI, regulation and moral consequences are not dealt with enough. Like with medicine there's the FDA, so maybe we need to think about something similar.”
She also commented on the lack of female representation in Israeli tech. “We are in the right direction, but not at the right pace. We don't see women enough. I read that if we keep doing what we're doing now, we will see gender equilibrium in 300 years. Do you want to wait 300 years?” said Kissos Hertzog.
