“2024 and 2023 was really fundamental for X as a platform on the way to our vision of being an ‘everything app.’ This year we released Grok - our AI assistant,” said X’s Israel Country Manager Neta Sapir to CTech at Calcalist and Bank Leumi’s Mind the Tech conference in London. “What makes [Grok] more real and live is that it's actually based on what everyone sees on the platform. X, and Twitter before, are known as the town square. So, Grok is actually operating based on this information.”
When it comes to AI, X Client Partner Manager Ilan Yusim said that X as a platform is a major tool for promoting conversation. “For AI companies, they know that X is indispensable when it comes to launching an AI product. It's the place where you discover your audience, where you allow your audience to discover your product. They come to X on a day-to-day basis to discuss their creations and how AI transformed their business.”
Beyond AI, Yusim discussed how X is utilized across tech sectors to expand their activities. “We can see tech companies using X to enter a specific market and then they update their strategy and localize it to those markets,” says Yusim. “Grok also allows you to connect to real-time trends, to find out things that are happening right now, to analyze events, to create content.
Sapir added that X is widely used by Israeli tech to promote product acceleration, conduct industry research and also network, and X is actively working with companies on the ground. “Our activities in the Israeli industry are very diverse; from cyber security to enterprise, B2C, and B2B. We are also supporting multiple stages in the marketing journey. In the past year we invested a lot in startups who are just starting their marketing journey. We have a team that is collaborating with VC’s.”
