"What sets us apart from other VCs is that we don't only focus on investment," Chen Rosen, Managing Partner at Reality Proptech, which invests in early-stage ventures which fundamentally change the real estate market, told CTech at PropTech Tel Aviv. "We believe in nudging the ecosystem by connecting the startups with the real estate companies, which are two different worlds and very different from one another. We help them understand each other. We mentor them so they can grow and succeed towards achieving a win-win situation for all of us."
When asked about trends in the proptech industry Rosen cited ESG. "I believe 60% of investors take ESG into consideration before they invest. Also, big data is a big trend. There is a lot of data in this industry and it must be collected and transformed into knowledge."
Regarding Israel and the proptech industry in general, Rosen said, "I think that with our innovation and the fact that we think out of the box - and are not afraid of being global - we will transform Israel into the proptech hub for the world."
