Tabor Winery unveils 'Artisanal', its new premium wine brand, a unique creation that showcases the knowledge, experience, and passion for wine of winemaker Or Nadbach. Each bottle of Artisanal is crafted in harmony with the key elements of wine growing: high-quality grapes, fertile soils, and unique growing regions across Israel, where Tabor Winery has chosen to plant its vineyards. All the winery’s vineyards are ecological and sustainable, maintaining a delicate balance between man and nature, and between past and future.
The "winemaker’s fingerprint" is a recurring theme across all of the series created by Or Nadbach. From selecting the best vineyards for each variety, to matching each grape variety with its ideal growing region and advantages, to careful and loving handling of the fruit in the winery, while preserving the traditional elements of winemaking and incorporating advanced technology into the production process. It is a precise, uncompromising art based on a love for wine, extensive knowledge, and respect for nature.
The Artisanal brand includes three unique wine series:
ELEMENTS: A series of varietal wines sourced from the winery's vineyards located in Israel's most fertile growing regions, from the Golan Heights in the north to Mitzpe Ramon in the south. The combination of each grape variety with the land and the region best suited to it is the result of an optimal, harmonious collaboration between the agronomist and the winemaker.
CREATION: A series of quality wines produced from the finest fruit of the vineyards, each varietal carefully selected. The grapes undergo a series of precise processes in the winery, according to the character of each variety, and are aged in French oak barrels for an extended period under full supervision. This aging process adds richness, flavors, and aromas to create a series of complex, balanced wines.
DESIRE: A rich and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon wine made from the winery’s unique vineyard in Malkia. This wine is only produced in years when the vineyard yields exceptional-quality fruit, and every step of its production follows the highest standards. The process includes hand harvesting, meticulous fruit sorting, fermentation in small tanks, long-term aging in French oak barrels, and the winemaker’s decision when the wine has reached its ideal maturity. It is a personal masterpiece of the winemaker, driven by a passion for perfection.
Winemaker Or Nadbach, who holds a master's degree in winemaking from UC Davis University and has over 12 years of experience at Tabor Winery, leads the unique philosophy of the new brand. "Artisanal represents the connection between tradition and innovation," explains Nadbach. "Each bottle is the result of a careful selection of premium vineyards, precise adaptation to growing regions, and meticulous care at every stage of production.
