Revealense showing how AI can play an empathetic role in the therapeutic world

The company has raised a total of $4 million to develop a platform that can identify PTSD symptoms - and is already used by Israeli security forces impacted by October 7.

“As human interactions go digital, AI and the ability to analyze human behavior proliferate. In the security world, it is about identifying the intentions of hostile parties with a high level of certainty in the investigation process,” said Revealense. “Artificial intelligence plays an empathetic role in the therapeutic world in understanding the triggers that negatively affect the patient and identifying the factors that strengthen his mental strength. It offers a hopeful glimpse of AI's potential in mental health.”
The platform has been recognized by Mafat (Israel DARPA) as an assessment tool to identify PTSD symptoms in a short time and on a large scale. Its technology has been used on a large scale since October 7 by Israeli security forces.

How was the idea born?
The entrepreneurs came with a background from two fields:
  1. HLS and special forces mental fitness
  2. Psychological therapy for trauma.
In these two demanding and uncompromising fields, the holy grail that investigators and psychologists wanted is a technological system that will quickly make it possible to understand each person's mental state with high accuracy, verify intentions, and understand deception and signs without bias at any given moment.
What is the need for the product?
As human interactions go digital, AI and the ability to analyze human behavior proliferate. In the security world, it is about identifying the intentions of hostile parties with a high level of certainty in the investigation process.
Artificial intelligence plays an empathetic role in the therapeutic world in understanding the triggers that negatively affect the patient and identifying the factors that strengthen his mental strength. It offers a hopeful glimpse of AI's potential in mental health.
In civilian use, the versatility of AI is as intriguing as it is promising. From understanding a person in a job interview to verifying an insurance claim, assessing bankability, or even improving the upcoming forecast of a sales call, the potential for AI to understand humans with high accuracy and on a large scale is truly limitless. This breadth of applications is not only promising but also intriguing, sparking excitement about the future of AI.
How is it changing the market?
In everything! From now on, we will have the accurate and unbiased ability to identify malicious entities' hostile intentions, assist trauma patients in their treatment process with fair manpower diagnoses, and more. In the age of AI, the ability to protect using the company's technology in identifying unfair uses of generative engines is crucial.
How big is the market for the product and who are its main customers?
Revealense's strategic market targeting is focused on HLS, Mental Care, and deepfake, which are distinct subsets of cyber security, each requiring unique skill sets. The projected market size for each segment by 2027 is as follows:
  • HLS – analyzing human behavior and information authenticity is expected to be 20$B in the USA – main customers are law enforcement and intelligence agencies
  • Deepfake detection is expected to be worth $40 billion in the USA. Its main customers are law enforcement, media, governments, finance and banking, and enterprise brands.
  • Digital Mental Care – expected to be $20 billion in the USA
All three segments have a single thing in common: they all require high accuracy with no disputes. The uniqueness is that we can provide solutions for multiple segments with a single IP with no changes needed.
Does the product exist already? If not - at what stage is it and when is it expected to hit the market?
The product is in production and has been used extensively by Israeli security forces since October 7th and by agencies worldwide for analyzing human behavior and deepfake detection.
Who are the main competitors in this sector and how big are they?
Our platform combines several human factors based on context, all analyzed from the videos that detect the human culture to avoid bias and discrimination for the two most demanding fields in human behavior, HLS and mental care. We don't do face recognition or voice recognition, but analyze human behavior by analyzing the parasympathetic reaction of the human nervous system. We are creating a new segment in the industry where not a single human factor (e.g., voice) is analyzed (e.g., voice) by five in parallel, and they correlate with one another for high accuracy. The fact that we created a platform can allow 3rd parties to use our platform for other uses (less demanding compared to the HLS and mental care) like HR, insurance, sales, and basic where digital human interaction is happening and requires an understanding of it.
In deepfake, competitors include Intel, Deeptrace, and Sensity.
What is the added value that the founders bring to the company and the product?
In the research field - with years of experience in training special forces, agents, and interrogator operators, alongside years of experience in treating trauma and imparting tools for personal mental resilience. All this is alongside years of experience in investments and sales in the global market and a board of directors with a track record of over a billion-dollar exits.
What will the money coming in from the round be used for?
Money will be used for:
  • Continuation of compliance certifications
  • Marketing
  • Build and train sales experts
  • Product improvement
In the "Startup Boarding Pass" section, CTech will cover the (relatively) small investments made in companies during the early stages of their existence - and the entrepreneurs and startups who have not yet had the opportunity to reveal their stories to the world. Please use the linked form and fill it out according to the guidelines. This form is intended for startups raising between $500,000 and $3 million from venture capital funds, angels, or official grants from Israeli and foreign institutions. If relevant, someone at CTech will be in touch for follow-up questions.
