Hailo appoints Yaron Garmazi as CFO and COO

Hailo, a chipmaker of edge AI processors, has announced that it has appointed Yaron Garmazi as the company's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He joins with more than 30 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer of several companies, including more than a decade in semiconductor companies such as Kaltura, DSPC, Nogatech, Ness, and Passave, which he led while creating value until their IPO in the United States or their acquisition.

The appointment comes after the announcement of Rakefet Russak Aminoach as the Chairwoman of the company's Board of Directors last month. Other members of the board include Mooly Eden, who previously served as Senior Vice President at Intel and the President of Intel Israel; Dov Baharav, who previously served as the CEO of Amdocs and Chairman of the Israel Aerospace Industries; Jon Medved, founder and CEO of the investment platform OurCrowd; and Zohar Cohen from the RAD-Bynet Group, who previously served as a senior investment banker at Morgan Stanley.
Hailo was established in 2017 and has raised $340 million to date. In April, it raised $120 million and launched its high-performance GenAI Hailo-10 accelerators, heralding a new era in which users can own and run GenAI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) applications locally on their devices without the need to subscribe to cloud-based creative artificial intelligence services. The company has offices in the USA, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea, and employs more than 250 people in Tel Aviv.
