In today’s market, it can be hard for companies to find their footing and navigate an environment where funding is getting harder and rarer. Speaking to CTech at Early on the Spot, Nilus Co-Founder and CEO Daniel Kalish shared some advice on how to manage the market.
“I think going back to our story where we help those companies manage cash more effectively, it's making sure you're putting the right attention and focus on finding the problem, understanding the problem, understanding your customer, and being customer-centric - these are the basics and will always be the basics,” he said.
Nilus helps companies and finance teams create clarity around their cash. The company is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and can boast co-founders from finance companies like Fundbox and PayPal.
“I spent six years at PayPal, and Dani [Shaul] my co-founder, spent six years at Fundbox, so we know how finance teams and payment teams are dealing with their day-to-day,” he continued. “Whenever you have that knowledge it is easy to find the right solution for those pain points. For us, it is bringing those real-time data points and insights to make better decisions around cash.”
