Droxi secures $21M Series A to ease doctors' administrative burdens

The Israeli startup’s platform simplifies operations, helping medical professionals to focus on patient care.

Droxi, which developed a software platform to help doctors manage administrative burdens, has raised $21 million in a Series A funding round, taking its total funding to $25 million. The current investment round was led by the American investment fund Drive Capital, with participation from other investors including Verissimo, AirAngels, Lurie Consulting, and Elad Litman.
Droxi was founded in 2022 by Raveh Ben Simon (CTO), previously a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, and Gadi Shenhar (CEO), previously Chief Data Officer at Aidoc Medical. Both are graduates of the elite 8200 unit and electrical engineers from the Technion. The company employs approximately 40 staff members in Israel.

A personal experience involving a medical error that harmed Shenhar's grandmother inspired the founders to address errors in medical treatment. However, after speaking with hundreds of doctors, they realized that such errors are merely symptoms of a deeper problem: the overwhelming administrative burden placed on medical staff.
Droxi has developed a software solution that provides doctors with the precise information needed to perform any procedure, drawing from data on tens of millions of medical cases. Doctors no longer need to navigate through lengthy menus or input complex codes for tests and prescriptions in electronic health records (EHR), allowing them to focus entirely on medical reasoning and patient interaction.
“The system doesn’t tell doctors what to do; it simply makes the information accessible, enabling smarter, more informed decisions,” explained co-founder and CEO Gadi Shenhar. “Fewer clicks and searches mean medical staff are calmer and less fatigued, which directly improves the quality of care for everyone.”
The company currently collaborates with several major health networks in the United States, including Salience Health and Frontier Health. It is also in the process of integrating its system into additional networks that collectively employ thousands of doctors.
