"We are proud to welcome Ronit and Eido to the company, both of whom have a rich and diverse professional background in the fields of finance and R&D,” said David Yitzhaki, Co-Founder and CEO of Bookaway. “Bookaway continues in the process of growth and expansion at all levels, with an emphasis on development roles. Land and sea transportation is still conducted in many countries with the traditional methods of physical sales at stations, so the potential for growth in switching to online is enormous. Together with our sister companies in the Travelier group, we are determined to lead a global revolution, similar to the one that took place in booking flights, hotels, and many other industries."
Bookaway is a subsidiary of Travelier, which employs 460 people under six travel-tech brands helping book tickets online for 132,000 bus lines, trains, and ferries in over 120 countries. The company was founded as Bookaway in 2017 by Noam Toister, David Yitzhaki, and Omer Chehmer, and today helps millions of people with their inter-city transportation booking.
