How Team Me tackles the Gen-Z recruitment challenge
The company has raised a total of $450,000 for its platform helping personalize the job recruitment scene
“It turns out that many companies invest a lot in building their best culture, but when it comes to communicating it to those candidates, most of these companies fall very short,” said Team Me. “When someone tries to learn about a company's culture, what they're all about, and their products, there's a problem. Most companies don't do a great job explaining these things. It's as if they're keeping it a secret, making it tough for job seekers to understand what it's really like to work there.”
Team Me was founded in 2022 as a way to combat this problem. It is helping reshape the recruitment marketing space with a personalized candidate experience to entice folks to accept job offers when seeing employee-generated content. By next year, it is expected that 75% of the global workforce will belong to Millennial and Gen-Z age groups - generations famous for their love of personalization, among other things.
“In 2022, companies were putting a lot of focus on new tech for hiring, and one standout was using videos to describe jobs,” the company added. “That's how the story goes, where technology steps in to make job hunting a bit easier and more interesting for everyone involved.”

How was the idea born?
Yotam, one of Team Me founders, sat down with his brother, who was on the lookout for a new job. As they chatted, his brother shared the struggles of navigating today's job market and finding a job that really fits. Yotam’s brother wasn’t sure which company could be the right fit for him because most of them seemed the same; all their career sites and job description pages seemed more of the same. It was strange because, in today’s world, people like Yotam’s brother expect a different experience when navigating the digital world.
And that’s where the founders set out to make this job-seeking journey a bit less like a mystery novel and more like a straightforward conversation between companies and potential employees.
What is the need for the product?
It turns out that many companies invest a lot in building their best culture, but when it comes to communicating it to those candidates, most of these companies fall very short. When someone tries to learn about a company's culture, what they're all about, and their products, there's a problem. Most companies don't do a great job explaining these things. It's as if they're keeping it a secret, making it tough for job seekers to understand what it's really like to work there.
How is it changing the market?
In today's job scene, many people looking for work are from the Gen Z and Millennial groups. Fast forward to 2025, and these two groups are expected to constitute a significant 75% of all workers around the world. That's a big change!
Now, here's the twist: nearly half of job seekers (49%) say no to job offers because they had a less-than-great experience during the hiring process. And guess what? More than two-thirds (67%) of these job seekers use their phones to apply for jobs. So, the job hunt is often happening on the go.
The interesting part? In 2022, companies were putting a lot of focus on new tech for hiring, and one standout was using videos to describe jobs. This makes sense because most job hunters these days like to see and hear about the job instead of just reading about it. It's as if they're giving them a sneak peek into what the job is really like. And that's how the story goes, where technology steps in to make job hunting a bit easier and more interesting for everyone involved.
How big is the market for the product and who are its main customers?
Team Me is currently primarily working with tech companies, ranging from its smallest with 50 employees to its largest with 2000 employees. Team Me is currently in the hunt for expanding its operations overseas with a main focus on the UK and the US markets. In their mix of companies, you might recognize some names like HiBob, Mend, and Payoneer.
Does the product exist already? If not - at what stage is it and when is it expected to hit the market?
With Payoneer, HiBob, and other big clients already enrolled, the company has completed the development of the first version of the product. A new phase of their development is underway, and they are in the process of negotiating with some significant potential partners to expand their operations and markets.
What is the added value that the founders bring to the company and the product?
Yotam Tzuker, a seasoned player in the field, was one of the founders and CEO of Tech7, the go-to innovation hub in southern Israel, before diving into Team Me. After that, he worked as a business development manager at CQ Global, a global consultancy firm that specializes in helping companies find top talents worldwide. What's interesting is that Yotam has HR in his genes – both his partners were running one of the largest recruitment firms in Israel, Nisha Group.
Maayan Blech is the brains behind the product and all things creative at Team Me. With a hefty background in the creative and video space, Maayan was a big deal in the video industry. His portfolio boasts collaborations with some heavy hitters in the brand world, making him a key player in the Israeli creative scene.
What will the money coming in from the round be used for?
We plan to move forward with our product development, adding more features to help our clients communicate more effectively with their candidates. Additionally, the money will help us expand our client base as part of our expansion to new markets abroad.
In the "Startup Boarding Pass" section, CTech will cover the (relatively) small investments made in companies during the early stages of their existence - and the entrepreneurs and startups who have not yet had the opportunity to reveal their stories to the world. Please use the linked form and fill it out according to the guidelines. This form is intended for startups raising between $500,000 and $3 million from venture capital funds, angels, or official grants from Israeli and foreign institutions. If relevant, someone at CTech will be in touch for follow-up questions.
