Team8 Group appoints Bobi Gilburd as Chief Ideation Officer
Gilburd is a Colonel in the IDF and a recipient of the Israel Defense Prize
Team8 Group has announced that it has appointed Bobi Gilburd as Chief ideation Officer. The Colonel's appointment comes after having recently completed 26 years of decorated service in the IDF’s Unit 8200 and will help the Group’s approach to company-building.
"I have found a home for ideation and innovation at Team8, where I look forward to helping establish new startups that will not only have a global impact, but will also strengthen the Israeli economy,” said Gilburd. “I am both thrilled and proud to join a fantastic group of people at Team8."
Gilburd comes with extensive experience in the fields of cyber and data while serving in Unit 8200. In his most recent position, he was responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure of the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate. Throughout his service, Gulburd was awarded the Israel Defense Prize for his unique contributions to the country’s national security. He holds a B.A. and an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technion, and an M.A. in Public Administration from Harvard University.
