Positioning climate tech in the mainstream of Israeli high-tech
Managing Director of Doral Energy-Tech Ventures Roee Furman spoke with CTech at the Israeli Climate Awards about the significance of the competition

“The Israeli Climate Awards started off with a vision to promote the ecosystem in Israel for climate, tech, entrepreneurs and innovation,” said Roee Furman, Managing Director of Doral Energy-Tech Ventures to CTech at the final round of the Israeli Climate Awards hosted by Calcalist and Doral on Wednesday. Furman says that this was is an effort at “positioning climate tech in the mainstream of the Israeli high-tech scene as a whole.”
“Throughout this competition, we expressed and showcased the entire spectrum of this climate umbrella - energy tech, water tech, carbon technologies, carbon management materials, cement, and also agtech and foodtech.”
Doral Energy-Tech Ventures is the technology, innovation, and investment arm of the Doral Renewable Energy Resources Group, a renewable energy and environmental infrastructure developer.
