Traveltech startup Hotelmize raises $12 million Series B
The Israeli company has developed a sales optimization platform for tourism companies
Traveltech startup Hotelmize has raised $12 million in a Series B funding round led by Flashpoint Venture Capital and with the participation of existing investors. Thus far the company has raised over $20 million, with Chinese retail giant Alibaba and venture capital fund Investible among its investors.
The company, founded by Dor Krubiner, Omry Litvak and Guy Levitan, has developed tools that allow tourism companies to purchase and sell tourism products easily and efficiently. The company currently employs 30 people. According to the company, the current round comes after it has experienced growth of over 800% last year.
Flashpoint VC is an international investment group that manages $450 million with a focus on technology companies founded by entrepreneurs from Europe and Israel. The fund manages four venture capital funds, a debt fund and a secondary fund. The company has offices in London, New York, Tel Aviv, Budapest, Warsaw, Riga and Nicosia.
