Boaz Peer to replace Merav Weinryb as Managing Director of Qualcomm Ventures
Weinryb is leaving Qualcomm’s investment arm after almost 10 years. Peer is being promoted from his role as Senior Director, Israel and Europe
Merav Weinryb, Vice President and Managing Director, Europe and Israel, at Qualcomm Ventures, is leaving the chip giant’s investment arm after almost 10 years. Calcalist has learned that she will be replaced by Boaz Peer, who is currently Senior Director, Israel and Europe at Qualcomm Ventures.
The fund initiated its operations over 20 years ago and expanded its presence in Israel in 2011. Since then, it has made investments in numerous companies, including Waze, SentinelOne, Prospera, Wilocity, Wiliot, Weka.IO, and many others.
Peer, who has been at Qualcomm Ventures since 2016, has been responsible for investments in companies such as Wiliot, Prospera, Flolive, CyberX, Quantum Machines, Coretigo, Resolution Games, and more.
