Atad headed Microsoft Israel for the past three years and will be replaced by Haimovich, who serves as Public Sector and Enterprise Commercial Lead, VP Sales at the company

Microsoft Israel Country General Manager Ronit Atad is stepping down after three years at the helm. Her replacement will be Alon Haimovich, who serves as Public Sector and Enterprise Commercial Lead, VP Sales at Microsoft Israel. Haimovich will begin his new role at the start of Microsoft’s business year on July 1.
“Microsoft Israel is an amazing organization. Thanks to you!” Atad wrote in a letter to the employees. “Thanks to each and every one of you for your professionalism, dedication, and creativity thanks to which we have grown to become an amazing company in Israel. You have made the past year the best year in the history of Microsoft Israel. We can see the trust put in us by the Israeli economy. By the end of this year, our data center will be up and running. Above all, I’m proud of our social involvement as an organization. In training soldiers suffering from PTSD and discharged soldiers to work in high-tech, and promoting women in the tech world. I’m happy to pass on the reins to Alon Haimovich and I’m certain he’ll succeed. Now is my time to move on and triumph in my next challenge.”
