Team8 appoints Ori Yankelev as new Partner and Chief Revenue Officer

Team8 has announced that it has appointed Ori Yankelev as a new partner and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to assist portfolio companies with business development, sales, and partnerships. Ori will be based in Team8’s New York office and take a leading position in the company’s global executive network, the Team8 Village.

Before joining Team8, Yankelev was a member of the founding team and CRO at Own (formerly known as OwnBackup), where he built a global revenue organization that scaled the company's revenues to over $170 million ARR. He was also an Associate at OpenView Venture Partners where he helped B2B SaaS companies implement scalable go-to-market programs.
Team8 invests in a variety of industries such as cyber, AI, data, digital health, and fintech. It recently announced raising three funds totaling $500 million, bringing Team8's total assets under management to more than $1 billion.
