BigID appoints Itai Raz as Senior Vice President of Engineering

BigID, a company providing data security, privacy, compliance, and AI data management, has appointed Itai Raz as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Most recently, he served as VP of R&D at Israeli-founded data platform Redis.

I look forward to leveraging my experience across both cloud and on-prem environments to help BigID expand, and to continue building and scaling world-class engineering teams.”
Before joining BigID, his earlier roles included positions at Rafael, Intel, and Microsoft, where he was part of the global product management team and helped launch Azure, as well as business development and sales at U.S.-based consultancy Neudesic. He was also active in the Israeli startup BreezoMeter. Raz holds a BSc in Information Systems from the Technion and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
