Meet the Israeli startup aiming to be the Airbnb of the banking world
Flyfish Founder Mike Zetser spoke to CTech at Mind The Tech NY about hopes for his bootstrapped startup in the banking world.
“We are a marketplace of financial services. We're connected from one side to many different financial institutions, and from the other side to merchants and clients of any kind,” explained 26-year-old Flyfish Founder Mike Zetser. “So basically, we go to financial institutions and we allow them to offer their services through our platform and we are binding the best financial services out there in one platform.”
Zetser has founded Flyfish to make it easier for bank customers to use a variety of services under one umbrella platform. He spoke to CTech about how he envisions the growth of the company in the months and years ahead.
“We always say that our goal is to be the biggest bank without actually being a bank,” he added. “We want to do the same as Airbnb did in the real estate business within the banking world. So Airbnb was one of the biggest real estate companies without owning any property… we want to bring the same concept to the banking world.”
