AppsFlyer appoints new Chief Business Officer amid IPO speculation
Gal Ekstein takes the reins as AppsFlyer hits $400M ARR and completes a full year of profitability.
AppsFlyer has promoted Gal Ekstein to Chief Business Officer (CBO) as the company navigates a transformative period marked by significant milestones and growing market speculation about a potential initial public offering (IPO). Ekstein, who has been with the company for five years, is set to lead AppsFlyer’s go-to-market strategies as it continues to expand globally and deepen its profitability.
“Gal’s deep understanding of our business, combined with his proven track record of driving growth and fostering strong relationships with our customers, makes him the perfect choice to lead AppsFlyer’s go-to-market into its next chapter,” said Oren Kaniel, CEO and co-founder of AppsFlyer. Under Ekstein’s leadership, the company achieved 3.3x revenue growth in EMEA and LATAM.
The appointment comes as AppsFlyer reports crossing $400 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and completing a full year of profitability. Bloomberg recently reported that AppsFlyer is working with Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Bank of America to explore an IPO. The IPO could aim to raise $300 million.
Ekstein’s appointment is accompanied by other leadership changes. Hadas Almog will take on the role of Chief People Officer, focusing on fostering an inclusive and high-performing work environment. Lisa Zaythik, a founding partner, has been named Chief Culture Officer to spearhead strategic initiatives and enhance cross-functional collaboration.
