June 2024 in Israeli tech funding: $556 million in 12 deals
Over the first six months of the year, local startups have raised $4.5 billion, a 36% increase compared to the first half of 2023
Over $556 million were raised by Israeli startups across 12 deals during June, the fourth straight month in which the $500 million mark was broken. Local tech companies crossed the $1 billion threshold in both April and May after previously going since August 2022 without reaching that figure over a single month.
Over the first six months of the year, local startups have raised $4.5 billion, a 36% increase compared to the first half of 2023.
A majority of the rounds last month were once more early stage (7 Seed and Series A), but there were also several notable growth rounds, including $150 million by Insightec, $125 million by Semperis, $90 million by Fetcherr, and $40 million by Zencity.
