“Today gaming is for everyone”

“Gaming in general is significantly growing. And it’s not limited to gaming content by itself. We are seeing reach coming from different verticals and communities like fashion, travel, entertainment and so on,” said Maayan Kotler, Head of APAC Gaming, Global Business Solutions, at TikTok, speaking to CTech at the Israel-Japan Conference in Tokyo.
Kotler added that this trend is seeing gaming companies reach audiences that they are not reaching on other platforms.
“Today gaming is for everyone and we are seeing people that are not your typical gamers playing,” said Kotler. “The gaming industry has grown in the past few years and we see this growth continuing in the next few years as well.”
