Shelly Lotan, Co-Founder and CEO at Medium Well, joined CTech at the Roadshow+ event to discuss her outlook for 2024.

“As an entrepreneur, I have to be optimistic otherwise I wouldn't have been able to wake up in the morning,” explained Shelly Lotan, Co-Founder and CEO at Medium Well. “So, luckily for us, we are in the middle of our budget. We have a runway of at least a year so we are good.”
Lotan joined CTech during Roadshow+, an event organized by Calcalist and Poalim Tech that connects startups and investors for potential investment opportunities. Founded in 2022, Medium Well is a foodtech company that develops a solution for molecular filtration and separation and focuses on meeting the changing needs of the protein field, helping reduce the costs associated with cultivated meat. Given the challenges Israel faced in 2023, Lotan was asked about her aspirations for the year ahead.
“We are hoping to cross 2024 in a positive way so that we will be able to accomplish our validation and be ready for the next round already with a viable POC that shows we can actually do what we promised,” she continued. “That, hand-in-hand with the industry, we are going to demonstrate we are recycling the medium and it is working successfully in the industry.”
