Tray.ai acquires Israeli AI startup Vanti in a deal valued at tens of millions
Vanti specializes in developing AI agents for manufacturing and process optimization.
Israeli startup Vanti, which develops AI agents for the manufacturing sector, is being acquired by the American company Tray.ai in a deal valued at tens of millions of dollars. The transaction will be conducted as a share exchange with the acquiring company.
Vanti was founded in 2019 by Smadar David, the company's CEO, and Nir Osiroff, its CTO. The two met during their military service in Unit 81 and later joined Innoviz as development managers. The company specializes in developing AI agents for manufacturing and process optimization. Its platform is already used by leading global companies, including Seagate and Flex, as well as firms in the automotive, food, pharmaceutical, and energy industries.
Vanti has offices in Israel and the U.S., with its headquarters in Tel Aviv, where its research and development activities are concentrated. To date, the company has raised $22 million from investors including Insight Partners, entrepreneur Ariel Maislos, True Ventures, and MoreVC.
Vanti's offering oversees the entire AI lifecycle – from raw data to development and maintenance of models. Leveraging patent-pending adaptive AI technology, Vanti’s no-code solution allows manufacturing teams to build and deploy predictive models within a day, thus unlocking AI scalability for manufacturers.
“This acquisition represents a major leap forward in enterprise AI,” said Rich Waldron, co-founder and CEO of Tray.ai. “Vanti’s knowledge modeling capabilities, combined with our AI-ready iPaaS, bring us closer to AI agents that not only execute tasks but continuously refine their reasoning and decision-making through structured knowledge and real-time data processing. Enterprises can now deploy agents with confidence, knowing they are built for adaptability, security, and long-term performance.”
"How AI agents ingest and organize knowledge determines their success," said Smadar David, co-founder and CEO of Vanti. “Our focus has always been on helping AI understand and apply knowledge more effectively. By joining Tray.ai, we are enabling the next evolution of AI agents—ones that can rapidly adapt to business conditions and improve overall performance.”
