“We all understand that AI is here to stay and it's going to make our work much more efficient”

Lilach Danewitz, Director of Strategy & Partnerships at NTT Laboratory Israel, spoke about how the Japanese company is focused on Israel for its AI potential.

“NTT, much like a lot of corporates around the world, are looking for the best ways to integrate AI,” said Lilach Danewitz, Director of Strategy & Partnerships at NTT Laboratory Israel. “Everyone talks AI, but not a lot are actually doing AI and we try to do to make it happen, and it takes small steps to make it happen.”
NTT is Japan’s leading telco and mobile company with an annual turnover of roughly $100 billion and more than 300,000 employees in almost 100 countries. Three years ago the company launched NTT Israel, intending to connect the company to Startup Nation. Its goal is to help NTT arms around the world connect with Israeli startups, create business transactions and collaboration, and help assist NTT investment arms invest in Israeli startups.
“We try to find specific use cases,” Danewitz continued. “We all understand that AI is here to stay and it's going to make our work much more efficient and it's going to make an immense impact on economics and workspaces.”
