“What I've seen from the inside is that it seems like competition is growing. We sell ourselves as this network that has a lot of traffic. We have millions of members that are coming on our different sites every month, but essentially internally all these games are competing against each other for traffic,” explained Gabrielle Richmond, Account Executive at Prodege. “Bids are getting higher, and the cost per install, especially this time of year with holidays is skyrocketing. So how do we manage these growing pains?”
Richmond spoke to CTech at Gaming 2024, hosted by Calcalist in collaboration with Google and Playtika, about some of the challenges in the sector. As a company in the reward space, Prodege initially worked in the e-commerce space before pivoting to gaming a few years ago.
“It’s about navigating that space and how we spend more money into getting gamers and people who are going to spend money and convert our shopping members into gamers as well,” she added. “And just trying to look ahead.”
