We made the "Israeli Hi-Tech Delivers No Matter What" campaign a reality

We turned the famous "Israeli Hi-Tech Delivers No Matter What" into a reality

On the day-to-day, the Israeli startup A. Team manages a platform that connects super-talents with companies. Since the outbreak of the war, they have harnessed their capabilities to assist Israeli startups in finding technical talent to fill positions for teams recruited for the war. Kobi Masri, COO, says, “Many top-tier programmers from Silicon Valley and elsewhere are currently working in Israeli companies. They represent a significant percentage of the workforce that is currently employed.”

Already in the week immediately following the events of October 7, while everyone's eyes were still on the military and volunteer efforts, the founders of A. Team understood the approaching economic challenge.
“The high-tech sector is the engine of the Israeli economy,” says Kobi Masri, COO of A. Team. “We were sure that the dedicated people who comprise the high-tech companies would be the ones to volunteer for the reserves and go out to fight. We had to act to prevent the entire industry from collapsing.”

Indeed, this has been (and still is) the case. Founders of high-tech companies and many workers from the Israeli tech industry have been fighting in Gaza and the North for over a month and a half. In doing so, they have often left entire companies, or at least departments, behind.
Many of these companies have international clients who continue to function. Demos, features, launches, technical support - all of these continue. And we all know that a crucial aspect of the Israeli war effort is ensuring that Israeli tech consistently delivers, no matter what. This slogan from a very good campaign our tech colleagues did, was adopted by all our colleagues in the field, and we took it one step further,” Masri explains.
The "Israeli Hi-Tech Delivers No Matter" campaign, a collaborative effort by the G-CMO Global CMO’s Forum, Start-Up Nation Central, Viola, and Atreo Branding, alongside numerous partners in Israel's tech sector, has emerged as a prominent voice in the ecosystem. This initiative, celebrated on Nasdaq's iconic billboard, aims to highlight the resilience of the Israeli high-tech. Despite facing wars and military operations, it continues to tackle challenges and deliver. An exclusive interview with the founders of this campaign is set for release next week
“And it's true, Israelis are an example and a model for excellence and overcoming crises. The teams that remain in the companies work hard to compensate for those who have gone to fight. But sometimes, those who go to fight have unique and specific knowledge, leaving the companies at a loss”'
A. Team steps in precisely here. The company's AI-powered platform empowers founders to build like a unicorn with a dream team of top Silicon Valley engineers, PMs, designers, and data scientists. A.Team raised total of $60M to date; backed by Insight partners, Tiger Global Management, NFX and more.
From the moment the company recognized the issue with the talent being recruited, it quickly utilized its unique knowledge and talent pool to connect Israeli startups with the precise talent willing to help. According to Masri, “The results speak for themselves. Currently, a significant percentage of the talent in Israeli companies is top talent from elsewhere, recruited for the mission of preserving and continuing the operation of Israeli companies in crisis.”
“We can actually identify the technological needs of the company in a precise resolution - a server programmer who knows how to work in environment X and write in language Y. Thanks to our up-to-date pool of tech talent, we manage to find them the right person to fill the gap, within a few days, and in most cases even hours.”

And are these talents willing to do this?
“The talents working with us are asking for this. Since the onset of the war, many of these talents, including non-Israelis and non-Jews, have requested to be connected with Israeli companies and startups to contribute in their unique capacities.”
And it doesn't end there. These talents, led by A. Team, also volunteer with nonprofits and causes specifically established to cope with the war and support the home front and the army.
This week, they held a hackathon in New York with the attendance of dozens of volunteers, most of them not Israeli or Jewish, from which emerged seven separate working groups, operating entirely on a volunteer basis, to promote various goals, such as combating online hate, automating for suppliers in Israel, and political engagement.
At the hackathon, Dan Arieli voluntarily gave a lecture about how we can leverage behavioral science to help the current situation in Israel.
