Avishai Sharlin appointed General Manager of Amdocs Israel
Sharlin will continue to serve as Division President of Amdocs Technology.
Software company Amdocs has appointed Avishai Sharlin as General Manager of Amdocs Israel.
In this new role, Avishai will also continue to serve as Division President of Amdocs Technology, a position he has held since 2021. Avishai has been with Amdocs for nearly 13 years, holding various management positions. As Division President of Amdocs Technology, he oversees the design of Amdocs’ core products, sets its strategic direction and technological vision, and leads the company’s end-to-end research and development, product management, and technology strategy.
As General Manager of Amdocs Israel, Avishai will oversee the company’s operations and employees while working with key entities in Israel, including government bodies, academic institutions, social organizations, and business partners. He succeeds Harel Givon, who served in this role for the past year before transitioning to a new position at the company’s U.S. headquarters.
Before joining Amdocs, Avishai led the Technology division at Radvision and founded Xor Technologies, where he served as CEO.
Avishai is a MAMRAM graduate and holds an Executive MBA in Social Psychology and a BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Anthropology, and Sociology from Bar-Ilan University. He also holds a Practical Engineering Certificate from Tel Aviv University.
“I have had the privilege of contributing to Amdocs’ success for over a decade, and I am excited to expand my responsibilities by leading the company’s operations in Israel," said Avishai Sharlin. "Amdocs has many strengths, particularly its people, and plays a significant role in establishing Israel’s leadership in technology and innovation. Together with the team, I will ensure Amdocs Israel continues to shine as an industry leader—a place of excellence in business, technology, and community. This is a challenging time for Israeli society, and I am proud of our employees who are leading initiatives to strengthen Amdocs’ presence and success in Israel.”
