Dov Kotler, CEO of Bank Hapoalim said: "Our one goal is to rehabilitate the community life of families and businesses in the surrounding communities. We chose to establish a fund whose sole purpose is to restore the envelope's resilience and unique community life. We are already in contact with the heads of the organizations and representatives of the evacuated families, and together with them, we will work to define the common vision and the necessary focuses.
Our people have experienced low moments in the past, from which they have risen to a glorious revival, and we are here to help it happen again and soon. This is our way, and this is the order of the day. I call on all the leading organizations in Israel to join us. Together, we will build and strengthen the south and, with it, the country".
