“Since the war began, I have seen more people who even a few years before wouldn’t have considered coming, now utilizing the British passport or applying for the global talent visa, which allows individuals to be recognized by the UK government as a tech talent and move here without a job and work as a freelancer,” said Easy LandOn Managing Director, Dana Even-Chen, to CTech at Calcalist and Bank Leumi’s Mind the Tech conference in London.
Easy LandOn provides relocation services to London or anywhere in the UK for corporate global mobility and private clients including bureaucratic, financial, real estate assistance. Even-Chen says that most of her Israeli clients work in tech and more are relocating to the UK every year.
She notes that the process is still challenging. “The market is really, really tough,” says Even-Che, “Since Brexit happened many people who used to come here on a European passport and were able to find jobs easily with a visa, aren’t able to.”
