“Valley National Bank is the only US bank that has designated teams for Israel”

“Valley National Bank is the only publicly traded US bank that has designated teams for Israel,” says Valley National Bank’s Head of International & Tech Banking Ori Kaufman Gafter to CTech at Calcalist’s Mind the Tech conference in New York.
Valley National Bank is a regional financial institution that boasts over 230 branches and commercial banking offices across six states and has around $64 billion in assets. Last year, Bank Leumi’s USA completed a merger with Valley National.
“I have teams in Israel, Palo Alto and New York, covering two different business lines,” says Kaufman Gafter. “We have teams dedicated to Israel-related tech, working with early-stage companies throughout their journey all the way to mature companies.”
