Cibus CEO: "What’s good for the army will be good for us"
Eitan Singer, CEO of Cibus Pluxee, spoke at Calcalist's Tech TLV conference about the latest innovation being developed by his company
"Even in an age where every concept is questioned, the employees are what is most important and for me it is important to talk about giving," said Eitan Singer, CEO of Cibus Pluxee at Calcalist's Tech TLV conference held in collaboration with Bank Leumi and PAPAYA.
According to Singer: "On October 7, we asked, what do the soldiers on the front lack? The answer was so simple: water, snacks, shampoo, deodorant, things they can get in one package. It is known that an army marches on its stomach. From October 7th we all became military cooks for the cause, out of caring. Then we realized that there is a matter of showers, clothing, and if the army marches on all these things that make the soldiers feel good, then maybe this sense of unity will also work elsewhere? We are all behind our soldiers and we understand that our organization is like an army and we are chiefs of staff, generals, the organization is like an army, and what is good for the army will be good for us."
"Let’s return to our world for a moment," Singer said. "Take a high-tech employee. This employee is wonderful and dedicated and we help them feel good. This employee receives a Cibus card for food (lunch), to order something for their kids, and receives a gift for Passover and Rosh Hashanah, and also receives English lessons and then remembers that they also have Cibus. But this employee may not remember that they have a gift card. We asked many good people where, for example, we could produce packages, packages with the "wow" effect, because it turns out that clichés work."
According to him: "Cibus, which is a leading company in employee benefits, is introducing Pluxee - all the benefits in one wallet. How will it work? That high-tech employee will receive their gifts and the bonus and Pilates, and it will all be in one place, and that's how this employee feels that they are seen. And when the employee flies abroad, the employee's expense report will also be in Pluxee. It's not just an accessory, it allows HR people to see the statistics of what the card holder uses. If, for example, someone doesn't use a gift card, then you can give the employee something else, and if you put everything in one place, you produce a big "wow" for the employees.
"I get asked a lot how we see this market for employee benefits," Singer concluded, "and I'm optimistic. Until October 7th, we saw tech booms and after that we saw cutbacks, but we are optimistic for 2025 and we believe that in the end - we will win."
