Resurge Growth Partners on connecting Israeli and UK tech
Eyal Malinger, Managing Partner at Resurge Growth Partners, spoke to CTech at Calcalist and Bank Leumi’s Mind the Tech conference in London about how Israel and UK tech companies differ.

“The triangle or rectangle of Paris, London, Oxford, Cambridge plus Israel is probably responsible for 60-70% of all VC money invested in the last ten years,” said Resurge Growth Partners Managing Partner Eyal Malinger to CTech at Calcalist and Bank Leumi’s Mind the Tech conference in London.
Resurge Growth Partners is a London-based venture equity fund that operates in the UK, Europe and Israel, for businesses that have reached the end of the VC road but don’t yet fit the private equity playbook.
“What Israeli companies and what UK businesses consider tech are quite different. Most companies in Israel [begin with] real technology but sometimes struggle with the commercialization side of the technology, whereas many UK companies start with the commercialization and then try to fit technology into it,” says Malinger.
