AI Startup Epistema Appoints Former Wix Exec as VP of Product

Tel Aviv-based artificial intelligence startup Epistema Ltd. has appointed Orly Amrany
as vice president of product, the company announced in a Facebook post Thursday. Epistema’s CEO Joab Rosenberg confirmed the appointment in a message sent to Calcalist Tuesday.

Before joining Epistema, Amrany was a vice president and general manager of premium services at website building company Wix.com Ltd. and chief product officer at software company Natural Intelligence Ltd. She also held consulting roles at companies including online gig marketplace Fiverr Int. Ltd. and team management startup Monday.com Labs Ltd.

Photo: Shachar Fleischmann Founded in 2015, Epistema develops a debate platform supported by automated data checks and artificial intelligence that lets professional team members consult each other and rates responses according to reliability, applicability, and user feedback. Epistema targets the financial market, technology companies, and government agencies.
The company employs 19 people, nine of whom are women. “We intend to reach a ratio of at least 51% women,” Rosenberg added.
