Peace between Israel and UAE is a “process” and will still take time, says CEO
CEO of Herzog Strategic, Ofer Sachs, speaks with CTech’s Ron Friedman about how the two nations can work together in the future
“Even if it's all over the media, and even if it’s an issue that everyone speaks about, yes we’re (still) in a process,” said CEO of Herzog Strategic, Ofer Sachs. Referring to the historic signing of the Abraham Accords, the former Israeli Ambassador to Italy highlighted that peace between the UAE and Israel is still ongoing.
“The fact that the leaders in Israel decided that we’re in a peace agreement now, doesn’t mean there is a seepage of opportunities here. Events like that are a process and will take some time. The fact that people can move more freely between the territories will enhance that,” he added.
